Agniveer Final Merit List 2026: Candidates waiting for the Agniveer Final Merit List 2026 want to know when the Indian Army will publish the final selection list and how they can check their results online. The recruitment process includes several stages, and candidates must successfully complete the applicable requirements before they can be considered for final selection.
The Indian Army Agniveer Common Entrance Examination (CEE) Result 2026 was released in July 2026. Candidates shortlisted in the written examination have to complete the remaining stages of recruitment according to their category and Army Recruiting Office (ARO). These stages may include physical fitness tests, physical measurements, document verification, medical examinations and other applicable assessments.
As of 29 October 2026, candidates should check the official Indian Army recruitment website for the latest update on their particular recruitment office and post. A single confirmed release date for the final merit list covering every Agniveer category and region could not be verified. Candidates should therefore avoid relying on unofficial dates until the Army publishes an announcement.

Agniveer Final Merit List 2026 Date and Latest Update
The final merit list is an important stage for candidates participating in the Indian Army Agniveer recruitment process. It indicates the candidates selected after consideration of the applicable selection requirements.
The CEE result released in July 2026 shortlisted candidates for further recruitment stages. However, qualifying in the written examination does not automatically mean that a candidate has been finally selected.
The final selection process can involve physical tests, medical examinations, document verification and other requirements mentioned in the recruitment notification. The applicable schedule may differ between Army Recruiting Offices, recruitment categories and rally programmes.
Candidates who have completed all required stages should regularly check the official website and follow instructions issued by their respective ARO. If a final merit list is published for their category, they should verify their roll number and carefully read the instructions provided with the result.
Important: Do not treat an expected date reported by an unofficial website as a confirmed release date. The official recruitment portal should be considered the primary source of information.
Difference Between Agniveer CEE Result and Final Merit List
Many candidates confuse the written examination result with the final merit list. Both are important, but they serve different purposes.
Agniveer CEE Result 2026
The CEE result identifies candidates shortlisted after the online written examination. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the relevant result list may be eligible to proceed to the next stage, subject to the recruitment rules.
Agniveer Final Merit List 2026
The final merit list relates to selection after the applicable recruitment stages have been completed and the prescribed eligibility and merit requirements have been considered.
A candidate who qualifies in the CEE must still satisfy the remaining conditions. Therefore, candidates should not assume that appearing in the written examination shortlist guarantees recruitment.
How to Check Agniveer Final Merit List 2026 Online
Candidates can follow these steps to check the final merit list when it becomes available for their recruitment category.
- Visit the Indian Army recruitment website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Check the latest announcements and result notifications on the homepage.
- Look for the relevant Agniveer final result or merit list notification.
- Select the appropriate recruitment category, region or Army Recruiting Office, if required.
- Open the relevant merit list PDF or result page.
- Use the search function in the PDF reader to find your roll number.
- Check the result carefully to confirm whether your roll number appears in the list.

Candidates should ensure that they open the correct list for their post and recruiting office. A result published for another ARO or category may not apply to their application.
Details Mentioned in the Agniveer Merit List 2026
The information shown in the merit list may vary according to the format used by the Indian Army. Candidates should look for the following details wherever provided:
- Candidate’s roll number or other identifying details.
- Recruitment category or post.
- Relevant Army Recruiting Office or recruitment region.
- Selection status or merit position, if displayed.
- Instructions regarding the next stage of recruitment.
- Reporting details or further requirements, where applicable.
Candidates should read the complete notification instead of checking only their roll number. Additional instructions may contain important information about reporting, joining formalities or document requirements.
What Happens After the Agniveer Final Merit List?
Candidates whose names or roll numbers appear in the final selection list should follow the instructions issued by the Indian Army.
The next steps may include reporting for document checks, completing joining formalities, meeting medical and eligibility requirements, or following other directions specified in the official communication.
Candidates should keep their original educational certificates, identity documents, category certificates where applicable, photographs and other required records ready. The exact list of documents must be checked against the official instructions.
Selection should not be considered complete merely because a candidate sees a roll number in an earlier CEE shortlist. Candidates must follow the applicable final selection and joining instructions.
What If Your Name Is Not in the Merit List?
If your roll number does not appear in a published list, first confirm that you have opened the correct result for your category and ARO.
Check whether the document is a written examination shortlist, a provisional list or a final merit list. These documents may have different purposes.
If the official final list has been released and your roll number is missing, read the recruitment notice for information about the result, eligibility and any permitted grievance process. Contact the relevant Army Recruiting Office through its officially published contact details if clarification is necessary.
Candidates should not pay anyone who promises to add their names to the merit list or guarantee selection. Recruitment information and selection decisions should be verified through official channels.
